Table Fees
Our table fee covers your time at the table and helps us maintain a welcoming space for everyone to play. You are welcome to choose from our collection of 100+ board games or bring your own — the table fee still applies.
Stay and play at your own pace:
- £2/hour per person (up to 3 hours)
- £1/hour for children aged 5–15
- Free for children under 5s
Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Extra time may be requested during non-peak hours, subject to availability.
How It Works
- Pay your table fee at the counter when you arrive — you’re welcome to place your first food and drink order at the same time.
- Choose a game from our Cappy Library — please keep only 1–2 games at your table at a time.
- Order and pay for food and drinks at the counter at any time during your visit — we’ll bring them to your table.
- Need help choosing a game? Our friendly capybara crew will be happy to recommend one for your group.
- Please return games to the “Return Area” when you’re finished.
Little Cappy Rules
- Clean, dry hands, please.
- Keep food and drinks away from the games.
- Keep all cards and pieces together and inside the café.
- Let our crew know if anything is missing or damaged.
- Pack games away carefully when you have finished.
Quick FAQs
Do I need a reservation?
No, walk-ins are welcome! Booking online helps our little team know when to expect you and be ready to welcome you. If you have any booking questions, feel free to email us at booking@staycappy.uk or send us a message on WhatsApp.
How long can we stay?
Table sessions are available for up to 3 hours. During quieter times, extra time may be available — just ask our team on the day.
Can I just come for food or drinks?
Of course! You’re welcome to enjoy food or drinks in our cosy space — there’s no table fee. Seating for non-gaming guests is limited, but you’re always welcome to order takeaway and enjoy our treats elsewhere.
Can I bring outside food or drinks?
Sorry, no outside food or drinks are allowed — our capybara crew has prepared plenty of tasty treats and drinks for you to enjoy here. If you have specific dietary needs, please let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Is Stay Cappy family-friendly?
Absolutely — we welcome players of all ages! Children and young guests should be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Is Stay Cappy accessible?
Unfortunately, Stay Cappy is not wheelchair accessible. Although our café is on the ground floor, access is not step-free. There are a few steps outside the entrance and a few more steps once inside.
Our toilet facilities are also not wheelchair accessible, and we do not have a dedicated accessible toilet.
If you have any access questions before visiting, please contact us and we’ll be happy to provide more information.
Groups of 7 or more?
For groups of 7 or more, please email us at booking@staycappy.uk before booking. Full payment of the table fee is required in advance to secure your booking.
Group food pre-orders may also be arranged. See full group booking details in our FAQs.
Are there real capybaras at Stay Cappy?
We don’t have real capybaras at the café, but you’ll find plenty of capybara spirit in our cosy decor and laid-back atmosphere!
